This private reference resource explains how public criminal records are organized in Fayette County and Tennessee. It points to the sheriff, criminal courts, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Department of Correction, and Tennessee Sexual Offender Registry. Outside tools also may be linked. The site itself is not a government database, law firm, private investigation service, or consumer reporting agency.
2. Rules for Using This Site

The Tennessee Sexual Offender and Violent Sexual Offender Registration, Verification and Tracking Act, including T.C.A. ยง 40-39-206, controls public registry information and does not authorize vigilantism.

Fayette County Criminal History does not verify identity, assemble consumer reports, or evaluate anyone's eligibility. Material from this site must not be used for credit, hiring, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. A person who needs a legally authorized official check must use the proper Tennessee Bureau of Investigation process or another provider that lawfully meets the required standard.

The material is general information, not legal advice. It does not create an attorney-client relationship and cannot determine how a Fayette County charge, warrant, disposition, registry duty, or expungement statute applies to an individual.
